SLTS has 3 related technical sections :

  • Desktop Support

This section undertakes the support of both administrative and curriculum ICT equipment in schools – the scope of their work is predominantly associated with resolving software related incidents, however, they do facilitate (in conjunction with the Service Desk and external third parties) the resolution of hardware related incidents

  • Server Support

This section undertakes the support of all server equipment located centrally at County Hall and located within schools

  • Network Support

This section undertakes the support of the Broadband network (connections between schools and County Hall) and the local area networks in primary/special school
