Procurement and Pricing

The Procurement section is the function that processes all orders received from schools (in addition to those related to SLTS project and operational activities). The section does not have resource to undertake (on a day-to-day basis) commercially related activities (e.g. preparation of tender documents, sourcing suppliers, etc.), therefore the majority of procurement is undertaken via corporate contracts/framework agreements (e.g. GCAT) or the WPIT (Welsh Purchasing Initiative) contract; exceptionally, however, bespoke contracts are constructed where other avenues of procurement cannot accommodate the purchase requirements

Educational establishments that have subscribed to the Procurement module within the SLA will be able to benefit from this pricing and order through the Procurement section of the SLTS.
