A very useful website containing a range of information, links to other website and many free resources including interactive bilingual materials.

UN High Commission for Refugees
Useful background information on refugees, particularly basic facts section. Also teaching tools section is very good.

Inclusion
Excellent site from the QCA, covering a range of areas, race and ethnicity, inclusion across the curriculum in all key stages and pathways to learning for new arrivals.

CILT – Centre for Information on Language Teaching and Research
Information on exam boards offering GCSE and A-levels in community languages and other information on language learning in general.

Literacy Trust
Plenty of information, news updates, government approaches, research, initiatives, etc.

BritKid
Concerns race, racism and life as seen through the eyes of young Britkids and includes information, downloadable resources and an interactive game examining issues of race identity and stereotyping.

Refugee Activity Pack suitable for ages 14-18 with activities that raise awareness and offer opportunities for young people to get an informed understanding of the issues involved. Also lesson plans and posters available.
