visit the local canal and take pictures so that we can discuss the
reflections seen.
If
possible take pictures over a period of time so that light and shade
is different.
Children
work in groups to study a photograph or painting then make a list
of interesting words to accompany it.
Children
prepare their papers by applying a wash either using sponges or
large brushes. When paper is dry children fold into a half. This
is their line of symmetry. Also remind them that they have two halves,
and that they will apply the paint to the top half.
To
use their painting to produce a similar picture using a graphics
package.
To
compare both pieces of work and discuss both methods used to produce
them.
