Simple composition.

Re-cap on last session by clapping a few children's names. Try to introduce other words to clap - seaside, beach, sand, umbrella etc.

Once children are familiar with this, select four children to stand at the front of the class. Choose another child to clap out and say their names in a sequence. Change the children to make a different pattern.

Continue with this activity using summer objects, pictures etc.
