Newly Qualified Teachers

We would like to extend an invitation to Newly Qualified Teachers in Swansea schools to attend a one day course run by the ICT Curriculum Team at YGG Bryntawe 9.15am - 3.30pm. Due to limited spaces the course will be run on a 'first come first served basis' and schools will be notified if they have successfully been allocated a place.

Primary NQTs should attend on 1st November 2011. There will be an emphasis on E-safety, Acceptable Use and County Guidance on the use of Social Networking. The County's Managed Sevice, Log-ons and use of the Portal will also be explained. The Scheme of Work for ICT, planning and application across the KS2 Curriculum and Foundation Phase curriculum with support resources demonstrated and 'hands on' opportunities.

Secondary NQTs should attend on 3rd November 2011. There will be an emphasis on E-safety, Acceptable Use and County Guidance on the use of Social Networking. Moodle to support the curriculum, the Scheme of Work for ICT at KS3 and supporting resources.
